M125 REGISTER

It has been suggested that a Register of M125s, and owners, would help to establish the number of these bikes in existence and their location. It would also be beneficial if owners could contact one another (via e-mail) to share their experiences in assisting with problems or correspond about M125s in general.

If you'd like to add your bike to the Register, please send details with information under the headings below, including a photo if available, to m125puch@gmail.com

*Your e-mail address can be a) listed, b) not listed but passed to fellow owners upon request or c) neither listed nor passed on. Please indicate your preferred e-mail category: a, b, or c.

Brief Ownership History

UK bike first registered in 1973, last on road in 1992, bought by myself in 2012. Currently undergoing cosmetic and light mechanical restoration as time, funds, inclination and garage temperature allow. I am presently looking for any half decent chrome items.

Just puchased. History unknown; 281miles and not been run for many years.

UK bike first registered in 1970. My first bike in 1977.
Rested between 1983 and 1997. In regular use since then.
My son's sole transport between 2008 when he turned 17 to 2011.

I purchased this bike in July of 2016 from the estate of the
original owners. They purchased the bike new on 5/26/69.
It is 95% original and even has the original tool kit. When
I acquired the bike it had not been running since 1981. It
now runs and rides great!

Recently acquired, now undergoing a full restoration. Seeking advice on stripping the front forks as I'm having trouble removing the piston etc. from the bottom of the stanchion legs. Any suggestions?

Restored from boxes of parts in 2018. Mileage 16,700. Taxed & Insured. Stripped back to bare metal and painted with modern 2 pack paint. Frame Post Office red, tank etc. GM metallic silver. Custom made wiring loom and Yamaha FS1-E indicators.

Engine rebuilt and new tyres fitted within the last three years.
Ridden regularly.
